Abhinay Lakhmapure is the Chief Business Officer – Sustainability at The Shakti Plastic Industries, India's largest plastic recycler and waste management company since 1969. With nearly a decade of cross-industry experience, he specializes in Plastic Waste Management, EPR Compliances, Circular Economy, and IEC activities. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging, a Bachelor's in Printing Engineering and Graphics Communication, and a Diploma in Packaging Technology. Past Experiences : Packaging Operations, Packaging Development, Quality Management in Food Industry (Edible Oil), Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics, Newspaper Industry and Flexi Tube Manufacturing.

Abhinay has represented the plastics recycling fraternity as a speaker and panelist at various national and international forums. He actively participates in advisory roles at association-level meetings with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) at both state and central levels. He also contributes as an industry expert in education board meetings focused on syllabus revisions.
