He is Managing Director of M/s. Welset Plast Extrusions P. Ltd., Mumbai, one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of PVC Medical Compounds & Tubes, Thermoplastics, Elastomers and Colour Master Batches in the country having two separate plants at Silvasa in Gujarat.

This has led to many firsts to his career. Journey to serve the Indian Plastics Industry commenced with President-ship of The Bombay Fountain Pen Manufacturers & Traders Association President of SPE-USA (Indian Section), elected as Director of Executive Committee in Council of International Plastics Association Directors (CIPAD), a Global Association of 49 countries having Head Quarter in USA in 2012.

He was President of AIPMA from 1998 to 2001 & Advisory Board Chairman of Plastivision India 2013, International Exhibition.
Today he is Past President - Advisor of Plastindia Foundation
He was President of Plastindia Foundation from 2006 to 2009, 2nd largest body in the world consisting of 7 Associations of India. During his tenure Plastindia 2009 exhibition was inaugurated by then President of India Smt. Pratibhatai Patil in Delhi.
He is the Founder Member of Indo Myanmar Chamber Of Commerce and Industry
